Shipping & Returns

New Zealand Tracked Shipping
  • NZ-wide shipping

  • All shipping rates are in NZ dollars

  • We aim to pack and dispatch orders immediately after purchase.

  • You will receive a shipping update email (with tracking number) once your order has been dispatched

  • All items sent by courier may need a signature on delivery

  • We cannot deliver to PO Box addresses — please use a physical address

Small Homewares
  • North Island: Live rates shown at checkout.

  • South Island: Live rates shown at checkout.

Large Homewares & Furniture

We offer flat-rate shipping for our furniture deliveries, handled by Mainfreight. Rates are calculated based on the size, quantity, and destination of your order. Once your purchase is complete, we’ll confirm the delivery cost and schedule to ensure everything arrives smoothly. If you’d like to know the rate beforehand, our team is happy to provide it by phone or email.

Estimated delivery timeframes:
  • North Island: 2–7 days

  • South Island: 4–10 days

Australian Shipping – POA

Shipping to Australia is price on application (POA) due to varying costs based on item size and location. Please email us at info@amierhome.com to request a shipping quote before placing your order.

USA shipping - POA

A price on application (POA) will be provided. VAT will be deducted from our invoice; however, the VAT of the country of origin, along with any applicable duties, taxes, and customs fees, will be charged at your destination.

Owner’s Risk

Each Amier Home piece is prepared for delivery with the utmost care. For particularly delicate items - such as mirrors, marble pieces, and framed prints, we recommend extra consideration, as they are shipped at the owner’s risk. Our team and delivery partners handle every step with precision; however, should an item be found to be faulty, we will gladly arrange a full refund.


Click & Collect (Mount Maunganui)

  • Free Click & Collect option available for customers picking up from our Mount Maunganui store

  • Simply select this option at checkout

  • We will notify you via email/text once your order is ready for collection

  • Please bring a copy of your purchase confirmation email and identification when collecting


Return Policy

By placing an order with Amier Home, you agree to our Returns Policy:

Faulty Items

We have strict quality control measures in place, but if an item arrives faulty, contact us within 24 hours with photographic evidence. We will assess the issue and provide a refund, exchange, or credit note as appropriate.

Exchanges

We do not offer refunds for change-of-mind purchases, but we do offer exchanges provided:

  • You notify us within 24 hours of purchasing (in-store) or receiving (online) your item

  • The item is returned with a valid receipt

  • The item is returned in its original packaging and unused condition

Returns Process

To start a return, contact us. Once approved, you will receive a return authorization with our returns address and postage instructions. If returning by courier, please use a tracked shipping service (return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility). Alternatively, you can return your item directly to our store at 63 Totara Street, Mount Maunganui. Please note, we are unable to offer a refund or exchange for any items damaged during return delivery via courier or freight.

Excluded Items

We do not offer exchanges on:

  • Sale items

  • Seconds (items discounted due to noted imperfections)
