-
Wood
- Some wood pieces can come in quite dry and therefore need a wax treatment, we recommend BeeSeal.
- Keep out of direct sunlight & away from direct sources of heat
- For general care, dust your wood pieces with a clean, dry cloth, or wipe down with soft damp cloth
- Use coasters to protect your wood from hot objects and to avoid water rings
- Don’t use abrasive sponges or detergents
-
Fabric
- Keep fabric away from direct sunlight/heat to prevent fading
- Use a soft brush or a vacuum with low suction to clean fabric sporadically
- Some fabrics will pill after heavy use — you can use a fabric stone or lint shaver if you wish
- Blot food or liquid spills immediately with a dry, clean cloth
- Avoid abrasive or harsh chemical cleaners
- Test upholstery cleaner on a hidden area before spot cleaning
- Professional upholstery cleaning can be done for the majority of our fabric items (check with us if you’re unsure). Please note that steaming some fabrics may cause shrinkage.
