Meet Rizz — International Artist
Some artists create beautiful work. Others create work that makes you pause, reflect, and feel. Rizz is one of those artists.
Internationally recognised as a painter, sculptor, and ceramist, Rizz's work has been exhibited in galleries across Europe, Indonesia, and the United States. His practice is deeply personal, exploring memory, emotion, and the quiet complexities of the human experience through a visual language that feels both raw and beautifully refined.
At the heart of Rizz's work are his figurative paintings, each inspired by moments from his own life. Through soft, muted palettes and expressive brushwork, he weaves together intimate narratives using the female form, symbolic objects, animals, flowers, and poetic fragments. Every composition invites the viewer into a world where nostalgia, beauty, melancholy, and hope exist side by side, encouraging personal interpretation with every glance.
His sculptural work continues this conversation in three dimensions. Figures that first appear on canvas are transformed into tactile forms, creating a dialogue between memory and materiality. Grounded in traditional techniques yet unmistakably contemporary, each sculpture reflects the same emotional depth and instinctive creativity that define his paintings.
We also wanted to learn a little more about the artist behind the work.
