Description

Lost in Time captures the feeling of becoming completely immersed in a moment, where the boundaries between past, present, and future quietly dissolve. It is an invitation to slow down, reflect, and embrace the beauty of stillness in a world that is constantly moving.

Through layered acrylics and her distinctive interplay of geometric structure and organic form, Natasha Bakhshov creates a composition that feels both grounded and dreamlike. Soft earthy hues are balanced with bold contrasts, while flowing lines and carefully considered shapes evoke memories, emotions, and the passage of time.

The solitary figure serves as a quiet symbol of introspection, encouraging viewers to reconnect with themselves beyond the distractions of everyday life. Rather than measuring time by hours or days, the painting explores the emotional experience of time—how certain moments linger, memories resurface, and reflection allows us to see life from a new perspective.

Elegant and thought-provoking, Lost in Time is a contemporary artwork that brings a sense of calm and contemplation to any space. Its timeless aesthetic and emotional resonance invite viewers to pause, reflect, and discover meaning within the moments that often pass unnoticed.

Her Journey

Now based in Marbella, Spain, Natasha was born in London, where her passion for art first began. Growing up, regular visits to galleries and museums nurtured her appreciation for creativity and visual storytelling.

Her artistic journey has been shaped as much by her diverse career as by her creative instincts. She began working in television, film and theatre as a makeup and special effects artist, developing a keen eye for detail, character and composition. She later transitioned into London's banking sector, where the discipline and perspective she gained ultimately complemented her development as a self-taught painter. Today, these varied experiences inform her distinctive artistic voice, bringing together technical precision with emotional expression.
